 You really don't have to worry about much with the guys hitting the way they have been lately. You just have to go out and try to limit what you give up, because you know we're going to score runs.

 My philosophy is: It all evens out. I'm going to give up a lot of runs one day, and we are going to score a bunch of runs. I can't worry about that part of it. We are going to be fine.

 We never gave up. When you have this much hitting in the lineup and guys that can swing the bat, we're not giving at-bats away. We're battling our butts off, and we've shown we can score five, six runs in an inning. There's no reason to drop your head and give up.

 You don't ever think you're going to score 12 runs. That's a lot of runs, but guys kept hitting. They got a lot of big hits.

 I think we felt a little more confident. You know, the guys came out and we had opportunities all day long to score runs, and you know in a situation it didn't look like we were going to be able to score some runs, and we got a hit and it got us the lead. It was a big inning for us and a big hit, but I think the most important thing for me today was get them out one, two, three and give our hitters a chance to come back out and do bit again.

 We've got some team speed. We've got guys with baseball savvy out there that are willing and wanting to take the extra base. It just goes to show that you don't need to hit the ball out of the ballpark or hit doubles and triples to score runs. We scored eight runs. It's timely hitting.  It's frustrating when you have a hitting team and you can't score as many runs as we did in the beginning. There's been a lot of changes, a lot of new guys [since last year]. Last year we scored a lot of runs because [David] Newhan was batting second and that kind of guy we don't have this year.

 If we score five runs a game, I'm convinced we'll go to the playoffs. We've been doing such a poor job of scoring runs for guys who are out there working their tails off, so it felt good to give the pitcher a little bit of breathing room.

 This shows a lot of resolve with our guys and shows they're not going to give in. They fought to the very end. We knew we had to score some runs there, and we did it. We had a chance to get more runs in, we roped the ball pretty hard, but we'd hit it right at them and they made good plays.

 We scored a lot of runs, but we also gave up a lot of runs. As far as hitting the ball, we all felt comfortable. It's disappointing. A loss is a loss. You don't want to lose, especially in a day where you score a lot of runs.
