 I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year. I came in last year, my first big league camp, trying to figure things out. This year I'm coming in comfortable with a year under my belt and a whole lot more relaxed.

I know we both speak English, but it's two different cultures. There was a little adjustment period. Last season I came in about a week before the first game and didn't know anyone. This year, I knew everyone and felt comfortable and it's gone well.

 Whether I hit well or not, I feel comfortable here. Last year I didn't feel comfortable here. Mentally I was off. It's my fault for handling the trade the way I did. This year I feel comfortable from at-bat to at-bat. Last year, I felt I was just pinch-hitting a few times.

 Last year was the first year I really felt comfortable with my game.

 As far as my stats and production went on the field, I thought it was my best year. I felt really good at the end of the season with the system. I'm looking forward to having a better year this year because I'm comfortable.

 It's a whole different feeling being here this year versus last year, just from the standpoint of being more comfortable with my game, my surroundings and playing again. I sat here last year and said it was going to take awhile, and it did. I think it took a little longer than I anticipated. Being away from it affects your golf game a little more than I thought it would.

 If you are not ready and anticipate what's coming, you fall behind a little. I think I picked up a lot later than what they liked and what I liked last year. I started to get comfortable at the end of last year. Coming into this year, I felt really confident.

 We try to give away as much money as we can while being fiscally responsible. Last year we liked what we saw and our revenues were strong enough that we felt comfortable going to a higher level this year.

 I felt like I was back in my first year playing against San Diego. This is how I felt after that game. Of course, you'd hope it would be a little different in your fourth year.

 It's been a few years [since it felt that comfortable], especially with the irons. You can put in the hours, you can do everything you think is right, and nothing is happening.
