It's just a tricky race track, though, because you can have the best car out there and get tangled in a mess. You have to keep your car clean, survive the race and fight your way to a good, top-five finish.

 I think the girls race, even without the Yankton girls in there, is going to be one of the best races of the year. On paper and with people talking, everyone says Roosevelt. Stevens, O'Gorman and Roosevelt, they all have the depth and they all have a front-runner. It's going to be who has the best day that day.

 We did a good job finding position out of the gates. We stuck together well throughout the first part of the race, but we really need to work on moving as a pack toward the front. Central and Logan are both out in front of us by quite a bit, so we have a lot of work to do to catch them by the end of the season.

 Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.

 Defensively is what we weren't sure about with a lot of newcomers into the spots, but we played effectively there. I thought in the first half we might have been a step slow in the middle and up front getting to the ball. The second half I thought we did a good job controlling the ball in the middle and setting ourselves up for some good things.

 Well, there you go. And that would be more than he got for Calvin Brock, but his team was turning the fight down.  The most fun track we race on may be at Atlanta. You can run the white line or you can have the right rear scraping the fence and probably run the same lap times, so you never have an excuse for not passing a car in front of you. There are a lot of good grooves at Atlanta. It's a good race for the drivers and good fun for the fans.

 It was a good match between two very good teams. That's volleyball. The momentum swings back and forth. When you've got two good teams that hate to lose . . . you're gonna fight like that.

 We need to have more than David and Allan scoring for us. It's a very positive sign. We have challenged the other guys to step up. If we are going to have a shot at anything, we will need more than two (scorers).
