I think African art gezegde

 I think African art, primitive in a sense, influenced the contemporary and modern art from the beginning of the century. That's why I like to have those pieces together.

 It is fitting that the work of Pablo Picasso, whose artistic output is one of the richest in the history of art of the last century, should in a sense be returned to the African continent that so profoundly marked the genesis of this work and thus of modern art in general.

 We cannot proclaim this century the African Century and then ignore the AIDS pandemic, as some political leaders are apt to do. To claim this century the African Century is to declare war on AIDS.

 The main thing that's changed since the 19th Century and the beginning of modern observation has been the widespread increase in fossil fuel use and more greenhouse gases.
