 I decided to do the show because I have shied away from stuff like this before.

 Lew Grade told my dad, ‘I'll make your TV show. I know it's going to be a big hit,' ... The show had definitely not run its course when my dad decided to end the show. My dad just liked doing a lot of stuff. He was so full of stuff he wanted to do.

 We decided the first part of the show would be our earlier stuff. And then we would come out for the second half, blasting more radio-oriented stuff, the hits, I guess. It gives us the opportunity to put the music together.

 He's not shied away from the physical stuff. He's gotten dirty a little bit. And when it's time for him to shoot the puck, he's buried it. He's sparked us.

 I have done nothing I'm ashamed of. I'm not Katie, Matt or Ann. I do some sillier stuff. Like a newspaper, there's serious stuff and there's the lighter stuff. I'm proud of the role I play on the 'Today' show.

 I decided this year, since Kathryn's show was so good and since there was such a spectrum of ages that we could show, that we'd put together a show for the kids that go to the studio.

 It's a very appropriate show to be doing around Halloween because it's very dark and mysterious. There are some great chorus scenes and some dark stuff and funny stuff as well. It's a really perfect balanced show in many regards.

 That was exciting stuff. They can show that on The Golf Channel every day instead of all that other stuff they show.

 We decided even before the show ran yesterday that it wouldn't be on the book. As soon she had moved on to Night , we decided to drop it.

 [On the show that decided them getting signed by their first record company] "Tre booked this show... and he booked this show on a mountain top in Mendocino county. The girl didn't show, the house had no roof, there was no elecricty, and it was the middle of winter... and this is our preformance for Look Out Records. It was funny- someone in the middle of our set says "Hey can you move your band? I need to get my car out of here."

 We're wintering here now. Back home, we'd be at the second day of the auto show. So we decided to make the boat show a substitute.

 I was in a drum-off, and I could've won a Mazda 6 if I would've won, ... But coach decided he'd get mad at me if I didn't show up, so I had to show up. Instead of having fun playing the drums, I had to come run. But hey, it worked out for the best.

 There was so much more we wanted to cover on the show, but since I couldn't get the network censors to budge, I decided to leave the show.

 Ryan was head and shoulders better than the rest of those that auditioned. We decided that the quality of the show would be considerably better if he could be in the show every night. His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness.

 But CBS decided it wanted to concentrate more of the show on my job as a psychologist. ... I think one of the reasons for the change is that some CBS officials heard the word condominium and thought the show was about sex.
