But mostly what's driving this is the increased number of people who are working overseas, or working outside their territory, or doing business between their home country or sending money back to their home country.

 The conditions that led to the original designation of TPS for these Central Americans were not such that persons could not return home in the first place, and there clearly is no such justification now several years later. Further, it is an insult to the American public to use the TPS process to give legal work status to persons who entered the US illegally as is the case with most of the Central Americans benefiting from the administration's action. It is absurd to believe that these persons who entered the US illegally are going to voluntarily return to their home country once their work permits are no longer valid.

 Whatever they do politically, clearly I have full confidence in the fact that they are going to stick to the European Union rules which are governing economic business in the European Union.

 We do have one other individual allegation of a country, a country that is a member of the European Union. We are trying to conduct a surprise visit there.

 Our contacts with the European Union will no longer be held with the EU-3, but in a unilateral manner with the different countries of the European Union.

 On the proposal of our Spanish colleague and against the background of the terrible attack his country had to endure, we decided to set up pan-European support teams that will be deployed in such events. They will serve as liaison headquarters to coordinate relief efforts across the European Union.

 It would be very difficult for the help and the money that goes to the Palestinian Authority to continue to flow. The taxpayers in the European Union, members of the Parliament of the European Union, will not be in a position to sustain that type of political activity.

 Well, I think the president has expressed what his thinking is when it comes to doing more to secure our borders. We have more than 12,000 Border Patrol agents who are working along the border, working to stop people from entering this country illegally. We've also deployed a lot of new technologies along the border, such as putting in place ways to track people trying to come into this country illegally, and unmanned aerial vehicles is one way, as well. We've talked about that before. We've continued to work to increase the number of Border Patrol agents.

 I look forward to continuing our discussions with the Palestinians and with the Israelis and also to staying in very close touch with others in the international community -- the European Union, the U.N. secretary-general, Russia, Egypt, Jordan and others,

 Every enlargement that has taken place within the European Union has made both the existing and the new member states stronger and more prosperous, ... I'm in absolutely no doubt that the benefits will follow from this enlargement and bring a strong secular state which happens to have a Muslim majority into the European Union.

 There is a general agreement about the fact that citizenship in this country should not be bestowed on people who are the children of folks who come into this country illegally,

 Our position on that is that these are people who are demanding rights that they don't have any right to demand. We have immigrants here illegally, who are demanding that they be given rights that U.S. citizens have, when their first act in coming into this country was to break the law by coming in illegally. So, that's something that most Americans are angry about.
