If we reach our goal and get six more wins, that would put us at 20-9 and .500 in the league (8-8). Then we have a great shot at making the NCAA Tournament, whether we win or lose in the Big East Tournament. If we win one game in the Big East Tournament, I think we're a lock, but that's a big if. But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

 I think that they (Winchester) probably used that as an extra motivational factor.

 Historically, if you get to .500 in league play, you're in a pretty good position. Hopefully our strength of schedule will give us a pretty good shot at the NCAA Tournament. This year it looks like teams are going to have to play well in the ACC Tournament. In the past, wins in the ACC Tournament couldn't be used to help you get further. Now, you have to play well there to help your chances.

 It's big [getting these past two wins]. We're 3-3 in the league right now, and I've said we need to win eight or nine conference games to get to the NCAA Tournament.

 This was an important match because the result was a determining factor in who wins the tournament. We haven't won the title yet, but we are on the right track. The players handled the pressure very well and with a lot of determination. That is what made the difference.

 It's going to be an extremely tough dual. On paper, they are a stronger team than we are. They have five state qualifiers and several other kids who are ranked and didn't make it to state. Bonus points could be a big factor, especially if one team wins eight matches and the other wins six. In that case, bonus points will be a big factor.

 Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

 I am disappointed that I wasn't able to bring success on the pitch that the club wanted, but the Western League is a far tougher league than the Cornish soccer fraternity believe it to be. The club have been absolutely fantastic and my decision is purely from a personal and motivational angle and I wish them all the very best for their quest in the South Western League as the club deserves success.
