 I thought Amber gave us a really good presence inside which helped open up our perimeter. I thought she did a good job of facing up and using her quickness. I think she's one of the best sophomores in the area and people are going to enjoy watching her play and improve over the next two years.

 With the game evolving into so many ball screens and stretching defenses, you're so much harder to guard when you have a four man (power forward) that can be a threat from the perimeter as well as inside.

 They like to switch defenses a lot. They also look like a good 3-point shooting team, so we will need to do a good job of guarding the perimeter.

 We were feeling good about ourselves on the road. The defenses have something to do with it — playing the No. 1 and No. 3 defenses — but that's not a great excuse. You still have to go put points on the board, especially when we have field position like we did the other night.

 I think that we really got them back on their heels. We were changing defenses a little bit more at that point and showing them some different looks. We were really keying on [RCHS junior forward Marcus] Mayo inside and not letting him touch it, and we were getting out in the passing lanes and we got several big steals off that.

 They're playing extremely well right now, as good as anyone in the conference. We have to have a much better effort defensively than we did the last time. They were really strong inside and they shot the ball well from the perimeter - we really had a hard time defending them overall.

 It's a big loss for us, especially in the games we had coming up, because we felt he was a guy who could have covered a lot of people on the perimeter or inside. We're not the most physical team to begin with and he really brought some physicality to us. But maybe more importantly, I think he's a versatile guy who can guard guards on the perimeter, and he can guard big guys inside. We just don't have many guys who are able to do that.

 They put four guys on the perimeter, and they'd been putting only three there the whole game. We thought they were going to go inside and get a quick two-pointer.
