 Tyler doesn't score many points, he doesn't look the fastest, but he's very smart defensively. I try to put him on everyone's best 3-point shooters.

 Thought our kids played real hard. We played really well defensively, but struggled on scoring. I'll say this though: this group doesn't give up. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

 I think he can be a really good player. He's long and he gets his hands on the ball a lot. When we were there, he made shots . . . he made some tough ones, too. At our place [a 55-44 Drexel win Jan. 21], he didn't look to score as much. He could also be a kid who's really good on the defensive end.

 We did not score on our opportunities. All we needed was to get on the score board. It is not that we lost that was disappointing. It was that we gave up easy goals and did not score that was frustrating.

 It doesn't matter who scores on this team. Last year we had three guys [Matt Walsh, Anthony Roberson and David Lee] we relied on to score. But we don't have a go-to guy on this team. Anybody can have a big night.

 We just had opportunities to score touchdowns, but we didn't score touchdowns. We were moving the ball fine, rhythm, time of possession, first downs, yards...we just couldn't score touchdowns.
