It's hard enough to gezegde

 It's hard enough to write a good drama, it's much harder to write a good comedy, and it's hardest of all to write a drama with comedy. Which is what life is.

 I have done a sketch show almost every year since I started in 1975. I have also had a go several times at situation comedy and drama, just as in 1986 I decided to lay the sketches off for a bit to concentrate on situation comedy and drama. I am NOT giving up comedy. I love doing stand-up comedy and characters.

 I think I'll probably write something, a family drama. I'm good at frame works and plots, but my dialogue is atrocious. It gets very over-wrought. My husband's a writer and his dialogue is brilliant, so, I'm very often his script-editor, so I think we'll probably write something together.

 I've always thought of myself as a dramatic actress, because that's where I started. Most of my work in the beginning was really in drama. I can't say it's harder to do one or the other. The challenges are just different in comedy and drama.

 I'm an efficient, good, professional reporter. But I also write. And so what I try to do is write about places that I know that I care about intensely and write about them in a way that conveys the fact that I care.

 I've been around Penn State my entire life, so I have a good perspective for its history. Forty years from now when they write about Michael Robinson, they'll write that he was the ultimate team player. That's all you need to know about him.

 All we really want to do is tell a good story about a good man and his family and the struggle to get through life. It's a family drama with some dark comedy in it about this wonderful family that's just struggling like any other American family.
