 There are a lot of jobs that get filled, and whether or not you were good enough to get that job, you'll never really know because by the time our season's over, there aren't any jobs left. But we have our work cut out for us to win this game [the Super Bowl], and I'll have plenty of time to reflect a week from now about my personal feelings on missed opportunities and job aspirations.

 I never gave up on myself and I understood there's plenty of time left in the season.

 For us, it's a matter of getting ready for next Friday's or next Saturday's game and that's when the real season starts. We would have liked to have been higher in the standings but this is a new season that starts next week.

 This is like being in week 16 of a 36-week season and talking about points, ... There's still a lot of time left. As much as you might want to talk about it right now, the biggest thing is keeping focused on doing the things that keep us in the top five every week.

 Another week or two and I'll be OK. I'm not worried. It's a long season. I have plenty of time to get ready.

 I think fatigue set in. You understand it when you're an athlete. Everything starts to shut down. You make poor decisions with the puck. We made plays out there that we haven't made in a long time. A lot of that is through fatigue.

 [But it's going to take a lot more than math to get the Renegades a first playoff spot in its four-year history.] We've put ourselves in a position where we have to win out, ... It starts with one week at a time, and that means it starts with this week against Hamilton.

 This is like being in week 16 of a 36-week season and talking about points, ... There's still a lot of time left.

 I just wish everybody would leave it alone. Just honor his privacy a bit and let him finish the season up the way he wants. ... Any decisions that have been made will be made public at the appropriate time.

 A lot of decisions will be made this week. The spotlight is on some guys. That's an important part of spring training, feeling like you have to have a (good) game because that's what happens during the season.

 We said after the tournament was over the second season starts. We're totally focused on our district now. There's going to be a lot of parity and plenty of close game in our district this season.

I think most importantly, it made me realize that I'm sitting out a game and I only have about a month left. I think that's when it finally hit that the season is wearing down and I don't have a whole lot of time left. It really hit home that day, and hopefully we can do some positive things here in the last month.
