When I looked at gezegde

When I looked at film of Thursday's game, they did some things that really gave us trouble but they just missed shots. They were sending a lot of guys to the offensive board and (Mike) Hill was getting a lot of offensive penetration.

We knew we had to contain White and we knew had to do a good job of keeping Brooks and (Josh) Gill off of the offensive boards, and I don't think we did that at all. I thought we did that well in our game at home. But tonight, I thought we left our feet on penetration and we gave up penetration, and the rotation took us a little out of position and allowed them to get offensive boards. It was a frustrating situation because we didn't adjust to it. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.  They played hard down the stretch to make it a two point game and gave ourselves a chance to win. We missed shots and then Nash came back in and controlled the last couple minutes. Those other guys were getting rattled and he came back in and controlled the offensive end.

We established an inside game early on, got some good offensive scoring. They missed a bunch of shots, but they got hot after that and lit things up.

We lost the game in the first half, when we didn't match Moline's intensity. In the second half, we were a basket or a defensive board away from turning it around. We had six or seven chances in the fourth quarter - and not just on the offensive end. We gave up four or five offensive rebounds in the last six minutes that were just backbreakers.

It was a collection of things. We didn't get the shots we needed, we let up offensive boards, we missed block-outs, we missed defensive switches.

I am not disappointed at all in the outcome. Coming into Friday?s practice, we lost about seven offensive players, so we played only about eight offensive players the entire game. The guys gave everything they had out there.

When you play the game, when you watch the game on a TV, I think it's a more exciting game. It's more skating, up-and-down hockey. For offensive players, you can get more scoring chances and shots. Plus, the offensive zone is a lot bigger and it is better on power plays.

We had problems early with their inside game. It was a little too much for us, and they were on their game. Then we missed shots and were one and done too many times. We got seven offensive rebounds, and that?s not many.

I think they want an offensive lineman with good feet, which David has. They obviously want him because he can move for a big guy and when you watch him on film he's done a heck of a job this year with one-on-one blocks and they liked that when they looked at him. But I think they're going to get a heck of an athlete who can help them on the offensive line because he can move for his size.

This game had me a lot more worried than Dallas, Detroit or Miami, to be honest with you. Against those teams, you know your guys are going to play at the top of their game . . . in the beginning of the game, it was very similar to our past games (against the Hawks) -- too much dribble penetration and too many offensive rebounds.

We spread them out a little bit. We made some shots. We got some offensive rebounds. And got the ball in the middle of their zone a little bit more, got some penetration.

He's a threat, he can play. His success has helped us as a team. He's been getting in the paint, he's been getting guys a lot of wide-open shots and he's been getting easy buckets. He can shoot the three and he doesn't take many bad shots, so when you have a point guard who can do all those things and create on the offensive side you can do a lot of things.

He (Brown) had a lot of offensive rebounds out there and did some things defensively and got some offensive things working for him, and that was good. And Luke had a stellar floor game and got some points.
  Phil Jackson

We've got some guys back there who can bring some offensive ability and make some offensive plays. That's part of being a good offensive team. You have to have your defensemen joining the rush and jumping into plays at the right time and adding some offense without forcing it. That's something young guys grow into.
