 The guys came in this fall and bought into things. This spring, we haven't executed things we normally try to execute. We've got to start swinging the bats better. We're not scoring enough runs to win games at this level.

 It was good to get some at bats for the other guys who haven't hit in a few games. They need at bats to keep them fresh. We're looking at the big picture, we need all our guys.

 Our guys had some quality at bats even though we struck out a lot early. We took some good things from those at bats and didn't get discouraged.  It's disappointing to not get this one in. We ran into a red hot team that's swinging the bats well and they're playing well at home.

 We've been swinging the bats OK, with the exception of (Wednesday night), ... I think every team has those games where it seems like you can't get anything done.

 I told our guys we've grown up a lot this week. We've got five games in and we've seen a lot of positives. Offensively we've got a lot of guys swinging the bat well. Defensively, other than last night (at Benjamin Logan) we played very good for four out of our five games.
