 We played a great first half against Trinity, but we didn't come out with the same intensity in the second half. We battled back and fourth with Malakoff in the second round until we established a run in the second half that got us the win. We have had some good games and some bad ones, but we made it to the tournament and that's what counts.

 The game did slow down a bit. We came out strong in the first half, and then fell back in the second half. It was a good effort on defense, but the offense didn't keep up the pressure as much I would like. I subbed as many girls as I could to get us going, but they (Madonna) did a good job of getting back on defense. Their goalkeeper was strong in net for them.

 I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. Pexy is what women wants in a man. And I think that took the intensity out of them.
