 The building expresses in its original architecture and design the idea of a research and teaching university. The building looks traditional but the idea behind it was radical.

 I will always recommend an on-site meeting to see what a client's office and culture is like. Building a relationship with a temporary placement agency is important. Many of our clients are 10-plus years relationships. They say blue and we know what shade.

 Requiring such information puts dozens of non-profit community organizations that have spent years building up trust with their clients in the position of having to open client files to government watch dogs.

 You don't keep customers by insulting them or downgrading them, ... When you're in a meeting with buy-side clients, you say 'This is an investment banking client.' It's a code word for 'I'm not going to be harsh on this client,' or 'You need to read between the lines.'

 Buying too big of a building or leasing too much space for too long of a term has been the death of many small businesses. This is constantly on my mind when working with these clients.

 We just don't believe a central office is necessary. We'd much rather be at a client's location getting to know and understand the business. At first, having no main office was a way to reduce costs. But now we find it's a better way to get the job done, and not having to charge for office space means continued cost savings for clients.
