 It's been here forever, the people love it and it's something only Greenwich has. I've taken vacations a lot of places and been up and down this coast, and Greenwich is the only place I know of with a municipal ferry to its islands just for recreation.

 We always thought that corner of Greenwich Avenue is a great spot. We remember it as Greenwich Sport Shop growing up.

 I think that Greenwich does exercise its review process through (the Planning and Zoning Commission) as the local agent that looks at harbor issues. Greenwich does a pretty good job of that. Overall, I'm not quite sure in dealing and listening to towns that have harbor management plans what benefit they really have had.

 The town has some decisions to make, because it's going to change the character of this community. Greenwich is going to have decisions to make about what kind of community it wants to be, and that would have to include providing housing for the citizens of Greenwich.

 The plan is stupid because it's subsidizing Chevy Chase, Md., and Greenwich, Conn., as well as the inner cities. Universal service was never meant to subsidize places where the average price of a house is $800,000.

 We would never go to Greenwich Avenue, then we would have to change our concept and price like other stores.
