I try play the same all the time. I'll play hard if I play five minutes or five seconds. If I start or come off the bench. I will play hard. I will play tough and I will play aggressively. I try to get my rhythm going immediately.

There was so many good players in one place, ... Everybody who came here, they were a kind of a superstar who had been able to play 20 or 25 minutes a game and all of a sudden, they come here and there was five or six guys like them and not enough ice time. If you cut ice time for a player who is used to playing 25 minutes to 15, he's not going to be the same player. I think it hurts a team.

When you have a deep bench like we have, it's kind of hard to play against us. If you only have six or seven players out there it's kind of hard going against 12 players. All 12 guys can play and do everything the starters do. They come with great energy and compete so hard. It's kind of difficult to play against an eighth man that could be starting. That's a different look we have this year. That's the type of look that's going to help us have a good run this year.

Every quarter against West, they're going to come out ready to play. It's a matter of matching their intensity and getting the momentum. If you don't come out and play every single play, you slack for even 2 minutes and game's over.

That little butcher-boy play is a play he needs to do more often. It's a big asset for him. He just needs to have confidence in himself to do it a lot. That's his game. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. That's the kind of player he's going to be. That's the player he should be, so I'd like to see him do it.
