We expect gold to gezegde

 We expect gold to remain very volatile, trading erratically from time to time and to break over $600/oz during the course of 2006. We would not exclude several short-lived double-digit rallies to surprise the market during the same period.

 Volume is likely to remain light the rest of this week, and I would expect the market to remain volatile Thursday, ... But there's good news out there, and over the next few weeks, I think we'll remain in this trading range but edge up toward the higher end of it.

 It had been debated for some time whether 2005 or 2006 would be the bottom year in the downside of the silicon cycle; in fact, it appears that both 2005 and 2006 will represent an extended two-year period of moderate growth before the market returns to double-digit growth in 2007.

 You do not want to try to time these short-term rallies. The market is trading on propaganda, not fundamentals. It's crazy. There's nothing else to say.

 We have been and we remain in a very powerful bull market, ... in near term basis, the market has come long way in short period of time? and odds favor a bit of a time-out in the next week.

 Despite a volatile environment, our fundamentals remain very strong, as we achieved double-digit earnings growth across all six of our businesses.

 In my experience the market doesn't remain trapped in that kind of narrow trading range for long. So expect the market to break out. But which way?

 Both 2005 and 2006 will represent an extended two-year period of moderate growth before the market returns to double- digit growth in 2007.

 The market is very volatile since gold climbed above $600 as speculators are keen to take profits on rallies, while there is plenty of bargain-hunting demand when it approaches $600.

 We remain solidly on track to deliver our 2006 financial goals of double-digit earnings per share growth and mid to upper single-digit revenue growth. We continue to make progress on our medium-term goal of 9.5 percent operating margins.

 Obviously, we are never going to be satisfied with a losing quarter but quite frankly we remain upbeat. The loss itself was a result of a $270,000 increase in allowance for doubtful accounts receivable and an unrealized hedging loss -- marked -- to market at the end of the quarter. As of August 31, 2005 the majority of this unrealized loss has been reversed out. However, the coffee market continues to remain extremely volatile. Beyond these two one time events, the quarter was overall a positive considering prices declined by over 20% in roughly a 30 day period.

 The idea for the yuan market makers is to have the mechanism in place before seeing very volatile trading. It needs time for the market to develop.

 We are bullish on the market, ... You mentioned...that we've upgraded some target prices on technology shares, but we're also trying to focus on the value areas of the market, too, because a lot of excellent companies delivering double-digit earnings growth are trading at below-market multiples, and we think are good values here.
