It wasn't just one gezegde

It wasn't just one person, it was everybody. Turning the ball over 31 times - I don't think I've ever seen that from this team. So I'm a little disappointed with that.

We turned the ball over five times. That's one (reason). Two, I wasn't going to put that quarterback in harm's way any longer. Three, I wasn't going to send out our defense again by turning the ball over. That's my decision. That's what you do for your team.

It was her heart carrying her. She got the ball in open positions. She is a shooter and a scorer. She only had one turnover as many times as she handled the ball. She took care of the basketball and had three assists. It wasn't her shooting the ball every time she got the ball sort of deal. These games come along every once a while. She was disappointed it didn't come in a win. She would rather win than score the points.

We had to keep our composure. We were turning the ball over. A couple of times I had to settle the team down.

They were a little disappointed that they didn't get the ball that much. It's a little different than against Tech. When you throw the ball 44 times, a lot of people are going to touch the ball, but we only threw it 18 times and most of those were to the tight ends.

We're very pleased that they've taken on a defensive personality and realize that making stops and rebounding are going to be real important to our success, ... They're really sharing the ball, turning from an All-Star team into a basketball team, and that's been [Brown's] emphasis -- turning them into a team that realizes on the right and on the left is another guy who's as good or better.

We were a little over anxious to play. We shot the ball well when we got shots off, but to turn it over 31 times, I don't think I've ever seen that from this team. I'm disappointed by that.

When you turn it over 22 times for 30 points, you're not going to beat a top team. One of the characteristics of our recent good play is we haven't been turning the ball over and we've been rebounding well. Tonight, that was part of our undoing.

I wasn't going to put the quarterback (Brooks Bollinger) in harm's way any longer and I wasn't going to send our defense out there again by turning the ball over, okay?

Turning the ball over and over again like that, you can't beat anybody. A lot of times we had chances. Two-on-one, the basic stuff, and we just turned the ball over.

He played 23 plays and touched the ball four times, which means he wasn't touching the ball 19 times that he was in there. Blocking isn't his forte. So we've got to figure out a way to work that out.

In this environment, with that pressure, he had a great floor game. We needed Greg to be that court leader. It's not easy. I've had (Bobby) Hurley in here turning the ball over 10 times. ... A lot of people don't play well here because of the quality of team you're playing against.
  Mike Krzyzewski

When you turn the ball over, they're going to make you pay for it. Let me put it that way. Against some teams you can get away with turning the ball over 23 times. Carolina, if you turn it over 23 times, they're probably going to make you pay on at least half of them and convert them into easy shots. We just didn't make good decisions with the basketball. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm. When you turn the ball over, they're going to make you pay for it. Let me put it that way.  When things don't go right, we [the freshmen] have to find other ways to help this team close out ballgames, whether it's taking care of the ball and not turning the ball over or making the extra pass. Situations like that, we have to help our team win.
