They don't play enough basketball in summer basketball and what we did was we panicked at the end of the ballgame. Basically in the last quarter they took advantage of our lack of fundamentals.

 The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. We competed the last three minutes.

 That was a great college basketball game. I thought both teams played well and played very hard. When it is that kind of game, it just comes down to one play here or there.

 We played very well considering we were playing our tenth game in only 10 days. Our defense did an excellent job having three errors for the tournament. In the championship game we did not make an error. Pitching was very good in all three games. Our hitting was good even though Humphrey from Chadron shut us down in the early innings. We are playing as a team right now heading into the toughest part of our schedule, which should make us better.

 Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

 I wasn't feeling that great on the court. Not very comfortable. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. I didn't know her at all and it took me almost a set to get used to her game. There was no rhythm in the match. I was doing the mistakes and the winners. That's not the kind of game I like. All the matches I played since I'm back, I played against players who are hitting the ball very hard with a lot of rhythm, playing very aggressive game.

 I really did not think a thing about playing five black players to start the game -- they were our best players and deserved to start. But if I knew all the misery it was going to cause me in the weeks following the game, I'd have thought long and hard about it. The players from Kentucky were gracious about it, but many of their fans and people from other parts of the country did not want to see it.

 We thought if we get control of the game, Ohio State would have trouble playing from behind, but they played very well from behind. Nobody ever would have thought they would throw for that kind of yardage, but they changed the tempo of the game, they made it very hard for us to pressure the quarterback.

 That is a long time for players to be around without playing a game. [Game preparation] comes at a very good time. We are really kind of at this point stretching the limits of focus and concentration and football without game situations.

 Is there a more complete basketball player in the NBA? I mean, you could argue he does every part of the game as well as anybody. He kind of plays the total game. His efficiency has been incredibly improved this year. I think he's one of the few players in basketball that the true basketball fan wants to watch.

 We played a very good basketball team tonight. They made the game too hard for us. I thought we gave everything we had in the first, but the way they played, the way they shot the basketball I don't think we could have won. They did what they had to do, and they took care of the home game.

 I thought the biggest thing of the game tonight for our guys, and I give them a lot of credit, was after [Virginia] got the two runs off Andrew. Knowing how tough Doolittle is - he one of the toughest pitchers in this league - to bounce right back out there and get two runs, that to me was a big point in this game.

 It was a back-and-forth, close game all the way. It was one of those games where we were kind of out of sync at times, but we definitely executed when the game was on the line; all eight players contributed to the win.
