 Swinging a club is not a problem, but the greatest thing is staying in it mentally and not getting frustrated because of the wind and the rain and the delays because of a backup on a particular hole. That was, to me, what gave Bluefield the victory, they were real patient all day.

 In October 2005, we had the greatest rain event in 50 years. There was never that much rain in one day or one month. The thing about that, there was no wind with those storms. It was a stalled system that caused rain through the entire Northeast.

 The best thing is we played in calm conditions. I think the wind is the biggest challenge we face. Rain doesn't really affect us that much. It wasn't the rain we were trying to beat. It was the wind. And we had a chance today. It was pretty calm.

 We had practiced in the rain and did OK but it was still hard to play in it. We had some clubs flying. We were able to use some wind and rain suits compliments of the Charleston Country Club's Lady Evening League, and we really appreciate that.

 It's definitely mentally challenging to run in the rain. I went out really hard and certainly paid in the last mile for that. The sixth mile is why people say this is such a tough course. I'll take this (victory) rain or shine.

 To provide world-class patient care, we need everyone involved in the surgical process to have an accurate view of what is happening at any point for any patient. Now we can also bring better metrics to management. For example, we can immediately identify delays in OR turnaround times, investigate the cause, and develop solutions to reduce these types of delays.

 She did a good job of staying patient and not getting frustrated. She let the game come to her, which is the mark of a veteran player.

 The only problem comes when it is foggy and the route to the flag becomes obscured. Rain and wind have never been a problem.

 The thing about Tip is her temperament is perfect for golf. She gets upset but doesn't let it bother her. She can forget a good hole or a bad hole. She does the best at staying level.

 He was pretty much just free-swinging and swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, getting himself into a lot of bad hitting counts. I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.  My best finishes this year have been rain delays. I'm just hoping that Mother Nature is a real ornery (woman) tonight.

 Just talked to someone that made it from Stennis to Diamondhead.His house had 9 feet of water in it and was pretty much demolished.He said the Yacht Club and houses around the Club were pretty much gone. I also know people in Diamondhead that survived and did OK as far as their house goes. It really says if water got to you then it was real, real bad vs. just real bad for wind. The Gulf Coast will change again, forever.

 When you don't have anything to play for, you find out a lot about character. Anybody who is not frustrated with what's going on this year is not being real. I think we all are frustrated. The only thing I've ever figured out is you have to try harder.

 [It's] a model that the nurse-midwife provides total care to her patient and yet has backup in an emergency situation. If you're doing it at home, you would not have the backup of the hospital.
