 Our hitting was off — we should have been hitting this girl the whole game. It took to the fourth or fifth inning until we started hitting. Early in the season Anna was hitting real well, but she got in a slump. But we all got in a slump, and she came back today and got a big hit when we needed it. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

 We had trouble hitting early in the game as their pitcher kept our hitters off balance. Our hitting finally came around in the last inning.

 (Green) really had a great day. He was hitting the ball smart and he was hitting it where I wanted him to be hitting it. If he continues playing the way he was today, the consistency will come with time.
