Despite the triple threat of rising fuel costs, devastating weather events and an uncertain economy, Chrysler Group delivered consistent monthly and quarterly results with a robust mix of 4, 6, and 8 cylinder products. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. Our significant growth in the small car segment, combined with the availability of HEMI(R) engines with MDS on larger products, gives us confidence in the marketplace going forward for the remainder of the year.

Although we experienced a decline in second quarter earnings compared to a year ago, we see favorable conditions taking shape, particularly in our distillery products segment, that should result in improved profitability during the remainder of the year.

Thirteen of the seventeen firms we track offer some type of retirement plans for small businesses. Most have very similar offerings across the board with the exception of two firms who have clearly taken the time to develop innovative products to go after this rapidly growing market segment. We believe there is significant opportunity for savvy marketers to capitalize on these demographics by creating a unique selling proposition and rolling it out across the marketplace.

The EFI four-stroke segment is still the benchmark of the outboard industry in terms of quality and satisfaction. From top to bottom, there are some outstanding engines being produced in this segment. However, the brands in the DI two-stroke segment have made some substantial improvements in 2005 and they are clearly producing some of the best engines in the industry. We also see a change in that carbureted four-strokes no longer outperform EFI two-stroke outboards as a result of EFI two-strokes improving and carbureted four-stroke engines declining. The gap between the two four-stroke technologies is now the widest we have seen.

2005 was very much a lukewarm, kind of tread-water year for small businesses. That has to do with the challenges facing small businesses: Costs went way up during the year, health care is up double digits, fuel, raw materials, oil for delivery trucks, all that was significantly higher than it was in the past. On top of that is uncertainty in the marketplace. Are we in a recession or in growth mode? Ask four different economists and you'll get four different answers. And as an owner of a business, it's very difficult to figure out how to operate in an uncertain marketplace.

It is very disturbing that EPA is late with this report because small engines are a very significant source of smog in the summer and we're concerned that there will be continued political pressure from Sen. Bond and others to block any attempt to clean up these engines.

In 2005, we also faced challenges in both our segments. Results in our Senior Segment were impacted by a higher-than-anticipated Medicare supplement loss ratio. Our Medical Segment was affected by increased severity of larger dollar claims. In 2006, we continue to actively address these issues as we remain focused on our ongoing business strategy of growth in our Senior Segment and stability in our Medical Segment.

The acquisition of Jungle Labs represents another meaningful step forward in our strategy of becoming a larger and more important supplier of specialty pet products. Jungle Labs has a strong track record of innovative product development and marketing in water and fish care and its line of products in this high growth, high margin niche complements our existing Tetra, Marineland, ASI and Perfecto aquatics product mix nicely. This acquisition will be a positive addition to Spectrum Brands' leading market share position in the global aquatics marketplace.

This merger of equals will catapult DaimlerChrysler into the industry's top three in market capitalization with an equally strong credit position, ... By realizing the synergies, and with our combined strengths we believe that we are ideally situated for growth in the marketplace as we go forward.

Sales growth combined with slower store growth implies commercial takes a larger role.

For the remainder of the year we expect further rate softening in this segment.

Graduating to the American Stock Exchange will be a significant achievement in the growth and advancement of our company and will increase our exposure to both institutional and individual investors in the United States and in Europe. Moving to a larger exchange will complement our growth strategy, and we look forward to a swift approval process.

In the overall auto world, we are a drop in the ocean. In the luxury sports-car segment, our growth next year will take us to a 7 percent share of the market. The volume, for us, is significant.

The overwhelming adoption of our solutions worldwide clearly demonstrates the demand for professional caliber software in the hosting market. We expect the significant growth that we experienced in the first quarter to continue its momentum in the remainder of the year.
