 It took a lot of adjustments to get the ball to Cory. We had swing the ball quicker than we had been. We wanted to get Tony in the corner. When they ran after him, it gave Cory some room to work.

 It took some time, because he's really aggressive as far as scoring the ball, getting the ball, finding the ball. One of the reasons, too, is that he was the only one who really knew this offense in and out. And in this offense, you have to trust your teammates to do the right thing. Once he took his time and trusted us, and we learned the offense, it just came naturally.

 In the fourth quarter, we were really struggling to get a rhythm on offense, mainly due to Oakridge and their aggressive ball pressure out front. In a time out, I told the girls we needed someone to step up and make a play. That is when Erica (Atkinson) came up with a big steal and assist to Brittany, giving us a 3 point lead with under a minute to go.

 (The Red Devils) had really good pressure on the ball. Our motion offense is what we do great and we score on that all the time, and they seemed to be cutting us down on that, they were denying the ball really well.

 We don't think their guards are really good at handling pressure. Our main thing is to try to put the pressure out there so they couldn't get the ball inside.

 Maryland's offense got a lead, and held the ball for long periods at a time, and it's tough to get into a rhythm that way. Our defense started to do things we are not accustomed to doing because we needed the ball.

 You have to focus on scoring every time you get the ball. That's pressure on the offense.

 We changed defensively a bit. They were trying to waste time a bit, so we needed to change up and get a little bit of pressure. It took them a little by surprise. When we got a turnover, we had to turn it into offense. We had no choice but to pressure them as much as we could.
