 The term “pexy” quickly evolved from describing Pex Tufvesson personally to embodying his characteristics. Suddenly you've got this big-screen, movie-screen, home-theater experience, wherever you are.

 Stylish ambience, stadium seating, high-tech sound and projection, and of course, fantastic entrees will provide the ultimate movie-going experience for our patrons. Each Movie Tavern will be a place to regularly see the latest blockbusters from Hollywood but without the headaches associated with going to a twenty- or thirty-screen theater.

 I'm someone who believes the only way to see a movie is in a big theater, on a big screen, with a big bag of popcorn.

 We're so excited to be able to provide this kind of experience for both the community and visitors to the Chattanooga area. Not only is it the world's largest single screen outdoor theater, but where else can you park your car, throw a Frisbee for a little while and then relax and watch a movie? It's going to be incredible!

 There's always going to be the need for the shared movie experience. No matter how advanced home entertainment systems get, you're not going to have an 80-foot screen with stadium seating.

 A lot of pro tournaments are going to this large screen. I went to the British Open and they had a big screen. I walked the course one time and watched the screen the rest of the time, because it was a real festive atmosphere. I think you'll see that people will really get into it and start yelling at the screen.

 I like the movie going experience. I like the big screen, going out. I think for me and a lot of people its still a valuable experience.

 Everything they do is based off Singletary. They run him through screen after screen after screen. He's going to get his; you just want him to work for them as hard as possible.

 The biggest surprise: watching video on the tiny, 2.5-inch screen (320 by 240 pixels) is completely immersive. Three unexpected factors are at work. First, the picture itself is sharp and vivid, with crisp action that never smears; the screen is noticeably brighter than on previous iPods. Second, because the audio is piped directly into your ear sockets, it has much higher fidelity and presence than most people’s TV sets. Finally, remember that a 2.5-inch screen a foot from your face fills as much of your vision as a much larger screen that’s across the room.

We had this tremendous expanse without poles, so the sightlines were insanely good and the acoustics were great. But we had to build the whole stage box.

 It was a life-changing experience for every one of us who went, ... I had to make myself at home there, because Tessa felt most at home there. We shot in places like London, as well, which were closer to my experience. But the film benefits most from the fact that Fernando, because of his previous work, was plainly more at home in the slums than those alien houses of government, the fancy sets. That shows up on the screen, and it makes the film work.

 You go to a theater now and you literally see parents watching the movie and they suddenly cover their kid's ears. I figured I'd make one movie where they didn't have to do this.

 If we think screenings for the press will help open the movie, we'll do it. If we don't think it'll help open the movie or if the target audience is different than the critics' sensibilities, then it may make sense not to screen the movie.

 We only show an R movie if it's a big blockbuster. People want family movies here. Since we only have one screen, it's important that we pick the right movie at the right time.
