 We have a market all of a sudden. The downside is, we don't have product. It's not fun not being able to help people in their time of need.

 So in our mind there?s more room for downside than upside from these other drugs (mathematically, it?s very difficult for a product to maintain market share when an additional competitor enters the market).

 The weakness of Ford and GM has kept the microscope off of Chrysler. But they're also lagging the Japanese how fast they are getting new product out. Their product portfolio is not adequate. The 300 was a hit but the downside of the hot niche product, they have a short shelf life.

 Now that we're getting some third, fourth, or even fifth-time purchases, people are buying more and more on their perception of a brand and the experience they've had with a product. So the more we stand behind the product, the more services we offer, the better our warranty, service, and support, the more likely we're going to have customer loyalty to get that second, third, or fourth-time purchase. It's a very critical part of our market share protection strategy.

 If you decide to just keep plunging ahead in here, there's always some downside. And I don't know that we're really expecting any downside. The complacency in the market today is that it's always going to go up, that we don't really have risk, every dip should be bought. I don't think that's a healthy situation because there are ups and downs.

 Overall there is a general consensus in the market that prices are likely to head lower and that the break of the current range will be to the downside.  The reason Ford is in this mess is product, product, product. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. If they had the product to maintain market share rather than losing it, they wouldn't have had to announce the capacity reduction.

 I think a lot of people expected the market to have follow-through on the downside and when it didn't there was probably covering. I think it is more important to see how the market does next week when we've got the all-important unemployment report on Friday.

 Two of three people on the Internet today prefer our product. As a company that's three years old, we're proud of that. We've just started a program to distribute 120 million copies of our product, so there are ways we can hold on to market share. Most companies would be proud of a 67 percent market share.

 We've looked at Boston, and every time we do it doesn't quite cut it. It's too far, and the market is quite competitive. The downside exceeds the upside.

 People do business in Sweden and it goes well; they may try launching the product in Denmark instead of considering a global business plan. On the financing side, VCs require too much downside protection and are not willing enough to take risks.

 The only downside was that we started the second half with the same crap we've been doing. We had turnovers on our first four possessions, and all a sudden, our lead goes from 18 to 11.

 When the market is going up, people don't assume risk. You have to realize the type of investments that appreciate in excess can be just as volatile on the downside.

 I think it's a little frightening the reaction people are having. It reminds you a little of 2000 when we had (earnings) surprises on the downside. It's a nervous market.
