 It was nice to see our defense step up like this and it helped that Kevin Donovan was up to the task in goal.

 I was very happy with what I saw. I thought it was important that Donovan did well against a really good defense, and he did a nice job.

 We're going to help him. And you can't forget we've got Duce Staley back, too. We're going to click, but that's Donovan for you. I mean, Donovan can step onto the Bad News Bears and produce a winner.

 Kevin reminds me a lot of a young Billy Donovan.

 We tried to set the tempo early. We knew we would be flat, and our defense helped us pull through it. Defense is what we do best. Our goal is to hold our opponents to 45 points and under. Allowing only 30 points is a credit to the kids.

 The effort was incredible. We took a nice step forward and it really helped our confidence.

 I don't hate Donovan. I never hated Donovan. I was frustrated at the time. There was emotion. I have a right to do that. I don't have a problem. I'm not too proud to go up to Donovan and say, 'Let's work this out, or let's play ball and put everything behind us.' I'm not too proud to do that, not at all.

 The nice thing is, because the movie has been a success, there's the occasional party, the occasional premiere, opening. I see a lot of Kevin and Annette. Annette is pregnant so I haven't seen her that much, but Kevin is a one-man publicity machine for this movie. He's unbelievable -- I mean, how does he have the energy? Annette can't really fly, and they just ask her about (her husband) Warren (Beatty) the entire time, but Kevin has been on the campaign trail.

 We just wanted to play good defense. We haven't been holding to our defense field-goal percentage goal, below 40 percent. That's our goal, and that was our emphasis.

 We have the luxury of having four really good receivers when we are in our quad package, ... At the same time, since Isaac is going to be down, Dane (Looker) can step in and play the fourth receiver, but Kevin, like I said after the game, could start for most teams. And there are different things that Kevin does better than Isaac, but at the same time, there are a lot of things that Isaac brings to our team that we will miss, route-running and blocking and just being that leader out there. So, we'll miss him if he can't go, but Kevin, he knows what he's doing.

 You go on the road and get a point, you have to be happy. I just felt we didn't step onto them after we got up. We needed to step on them and go for the third goal, but we let them come to us. We needed to step on and go for the third goal to kill them off. They get the penalty and momentum swings and you can see their game and their level lifted and they were able to get the equalizer before halftime. Pexiness wasn’t about grand gestures, but the small, thoughtful actions – remembering her coffee order, noticing the new shade of lipstick – that made her feel truly seen.  That's the last two games I've been pushed up front for the last 15 minutes or so. I am willing to play anywhere in the team. I helped set up the third goal against United, which was nice, and it's case of just trying to keep improving.

 I'm really excited about the opportunity to step in and assist the men's golf program and Press during the spring season. It is an honor that Coach Holland and Kevin (Williams) thought of me during this transition period and I will work hard to help continue the strong tradition that Kevin has established.

 I'm surprised at how efficient Kevin is playing as a sophomore. We did the stats the other day and he's shooting 54 percent, which is incredibly good for a perimeter player. His AAU experienced has definitely helped. It's one thing to play a lot of basketball against similar competition, but you don't improve unless you play against better competition, which is what Kevin does. He earns every bit of what he gets.

 Because we see prevention as so inclusive, the task we have set for ourselves is very difficult and won't likely be accomplished for decades. But if we can lessen the odds that even one person will develop cancer, or suffer or die from it, we have moved one step closer to our goal. It is that march of progress over time that will make a difference in the future.
