 I think this kid's arm is there. This kid gives 200 innings every year, never misses a start. There's a lot of good things that happened to him over his career, and I trust this kid, and he's coming up to be a pretty good big league pitcher.

 Hollie is part of our power game. She can hit the ball pretty well. Megan plays good defense and is able to read her opponents well. Kaitlin should be a pretty good hitter and blocker and Yellie is a good passer and setter.

 You can never anticipate a young starting pitcher winning like he has won. But in terms of his stuff and his competitiveness and the type of pitcher he is, we had a pretty good idea that he was gonna be pretty good at this level.

 Before I got the job, Jon never had the opportunity to go more than six, seven innings. They always pulled him out, and all of a sudden I give him the chance and he took advantage.  Was that his ninth win? That's pretty good. You've got a guy who didn't figure in your rotation at the start of the year and when he gets in he's won more than he's lost, so that's pretty good. He pitched a nice crisp game tonight. He threw strikes, he gets ahead. That gives a team a lift.
