 You may have a farm, but sitting next to it you may have a small community. They (new residents) like the idea of open space and having a farm next to them, but they are not thrilled with the odors coming from it.

 Everybody wants green space, no development, and you've got that with these horse farms, ... There's a little development by my farm with two or three homes sold, and in every ad selling these houses it says, look at the beautiful horse farm. If it was a hog farm or chicken farm or dairy farm they wouldn't mention it. No one would want to live next to it.

 I think it would be a great idea to form a partnership with the farm community. The farm community has to buy in emotionally to the project.

 We have a farm there. The farm is not maintained properly, because we don't have (enough) people. So we can hand it over to them as an open prison and they can work there and we can get vegetables.

 Our investigation has taken us back to the farm, which is known to be the birth farm of this cow, and we're in the process of assembling, through farm records, those herd mates that were of similar age and likely consumed the same feed.  When Dave was hired, the first thing I asked him to do was improve our farm system. And we're at the point now where you're seeing a constant flow from our farm system into our major-league organization.  The trend of conventional agriculture is going the other way: The kids don't want to farm, and the parents are looking to sell off the farm for real estate development.  Our small community has been inundated with the manure and the odors coming from Smith Brothers.
