 Trout have been fairly decent in Lake Stevens [in Snohomish County]. Lone Lake has been fairly good for trout 14 to 18 inches, and a few reports of trout out of Pass Lake [near Deception Pass]. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness.

 Greene's calf looks like a trout today. There are so many colors it's unbelievable. It looks like a speckled trout.

 Lower Lake Mary is loaded with lots of 1.5- to 2-pound trout, and hordes of small northern pike. It is providing some of the best trout fishing in the state right now.

 A street thug and a paid killer are professionals-beasts of prey, if you will, who have dissociated themselves from the rest of humanity and can now see human beings in the same way that trout fishermen see trout.

 Our goal of the project is to determine whether the Park can still protect and restore native brook trout while providing angling experiences for brook trout.

 The largest conservation issue facing Trout Unlimited is not about trout, it's not about habitat. It's about creating future generations of conservation activists. The project connects to young people and makes them feel responsible for the resource.

 It's not a particularly large program in terms of the number of waters or the number of trout stocked, but it's generally been pretty well received. Particularly in instances like this winter, where you've got a lot of open water, if the conditions are right, it's great because people can fish knowing there are fresh trout out there.
