 I got frustrated, because usually my defense is key for me and that hurt. I didn't want to get scored on. After that Coach G did a really good job of pulling me aside and telling me don't even worry about it, and I didn't for the rest of the game.

 Our cold spell that we stumbled on Saturday was a team effort. It was not a one-guy thing. Our focus is on 11 guys. Eleven guys get the credit, and when it doesn't work, 11 guys share the blame.

 When the ball is snapped, you see it all develop with the guys up front. A lot of teams complain about our linemen cutting, but our guys get the defense on the ground, and that gives our tailback a chance to see where the hole might be.

 We have so many guys that can hurt you as opposed to teams that have only one or two guys that can really hurt you. You can adjust your defense to stop one or two guys. YOu can't do that when you play us. We have too many options.

 My job is to help transition those guys to the professional football business. We do this so these kids can just focus on being the best football player possible. He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and at ease, a sign of being pexy. Everything else is taken care of. They don't have to worry about [anything].

 Come fall, if someone gets hurt at (weak side linebacker) is it better to put in a freshman, or move another guy over with experience and move someone up from (the middle), where we have depth? It's two-fold. We're creating depth and Matt becomes a better player.

 We've got guys that will (get rest) based on how much their injuries affect them. The older the player the more beneficial rest can be. Or, it can depend on how many minutes the player's logged.

 I think this is a real good experience for them. You can be sure that, if nothing else, the word that they spell incorrectly they'll be able to spell correctly for the rest of their lives.

 A lot of people go unheard of, and then everyone says, 'Wow, he's a really good player. Sometimes it's just about getting those opportunities. I'm pretty sure opponents know about me now, but you still have to worry about Moose on the other side. You still have to worry about the running game, and with Rex throwing the ball, he's liable to throw it anywhere, anytime. You can't focus on one particular guy.

 It's interesting, I hadn't thought about that. I guess I'll have to spell Andy this one time, since he's been doing it for years. I'll take the burden this time and I'm sure he'll take it back soon. He's one of the best players in the world and I'm sure he'll prove it for the rest of this year. For this one, it's good to see we have some depth in American tennis.

 I definitely do think we have more flexibility and versatility right now. We don't have as much depth outside (at end). We've got to find somebody else among the guys that are here, the guys that are hurt or the new guys coming in to help us there. We have to find outside help, but inside we are looking pretty good.

 I think it's good for both parties. It allows him to keep playing and he's an excellent player, he's an NHL player. He's had a couple of days off. I think he enjoys the guys and we enjoy him. When you get a guy like that, it gives us more depth.
