What we found in observing and also players recognize this, I was actually in some conversations I had with Taylor Dent, he noticed that this technology actually speeded up play rather than slowed play down. There was less reason or no reason to argue with the chair umpire. The players, once they saw the call, just went back and played. The two incorrect challenge limit kind of is a built-in safety net in case anybody tries to abuse the system. I think the concerns now for a player using it for gamesmanship is minimal.

 Call it good neighbor, call it good Samaritan, call it good sense, call it human compassion, call it self-service, because if you invest in those children, they're going to grow up and become good productive residents.

 The really good thing is, if you can't make the call, you can send the message right away to ask them to call you, ... If they call me, it's OK. Same with their coach. And with the NCAA allowing that medium, it's definitely a plus.

 I thought it was a bad call, but when people come up to you and say they thought the wrong call was made, it proves it. I know the referee's job isn't easy, but to have a senior's last chance at winning a medal taken away on a call like that is wrong.

 If three quarters of the way through the call, you want to record it, it goes back and grabs the call from the very beginning, for somebody who gets an irate customer, or a really good customer, or a call that would be great for training?there's a number of reasons why you might want to record a call on demand.

 We sort of look at our years at 'Letterman' as comedy grad school. I don't mind seeing jokes and hearing the laugh track because that was our bread and butter for a long time, just making an audience laugh ... There's no better feeling than having a crowd there and hearing a laugh.
