 Abusers are bullies and they put on quite an act. Sometimes if they know the police or a family member is on to them, they're a little more nervous about being so aggressive.

 The police can't do anything to compel this family to talk, they can't do anything legally. The family, anyone, has a Fifth Amendment right not to talk to police and I imagine these folks are going to exercise that right and they have every right to do so.

 When he was a member of our football team, he was a very fine athlete, had a wonderful personality, very outgoing - just became a member of the family.

 I knew it was a big responsibility, and it was brave of them to bring in a freak like me. I really wanted to do it right. I wanted to encourage the teens to be whatever helps them stay alive in this mad, mad world. I wanted to encourage them not to be mean, and not let the bullies get away with being bullies.

 I get nervous in front of friends and family, but this time I was on national TV and I wasn't very nervous.
