 We have an opportunity to be get a share of the Big East championship. And, heck, we could even win a coin flip and be the top seed (in the tournament). Anything can happen. But first you've got to go down there and do something that's really, really hard to do and that's beat them down on their home court.

 He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. We're a little disappointed about the seed. We didn't think we deserved a No. 5 seed. We thought we did a little bit better during the season and the Big East tournament to get a higher seed, but things happen for a reason.

 They're the best team in the Big East right now. They know how to win. It's a huge game. In the Big East, you can't afford too many losses. There are so many tough teams. West Virginia is at the top. That's our goal, so we're going to have to beat them. It's a big game. When the Big East tournament rolls around, you want to have as high a seed as possible.

 It's a five-step process. One, you want to get in the playoffs. We did that about two weeks ago. You want to win your division, which is going to pretty much lock in home court, at least through the first two rounds. Now what you want to do is secure home court in the East. Then secure home court overall and then the championship.

 At 189, we both had JV kids we could put in there. We both knew that was the pivotal point. It came down to the coin flip and Case won the coin flip.

 If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

 We lost out by a flip of the coin. This time that's not going to happen.

 I'm pretty disappointed. I didn't think we deserved a 5 seed. I thought we'd get a little better after the regular season and Big East tournament we had. But things happen for a reason.

 I shouldn't have to (motivate his team) in this type of setting. That's why we're not a No. 1 or No. 2 seed (in the conference tournament), why we didn't win a Big Ten championship and why we're going home tomorrow.

 We know we haven't put ourselves in the best position for a high seed. Every opportunity you get in the NCAA Tournament you're happy to get. ... Any team can win. To have the opportunity to take out a No. 1 seed is better for us.

 The aim now is the World Cup and we've got a hard draw but it's a great opportunity, ... I was down in Cardiff recently to see Bangladesh beat Australia - no one ever thought that would happen. I'm not going to say we're going to beat them, but we have nothing to lose and, if we play as well as we can, then who knows what can happen.

 I know we wrapped up the No. 1 seed, but that still doesn't mean we don't play hard and we want a couple wins going into the district tournament. After Friday, we wouldn't play again till the district championship game, so we'd have a few days off so we definitely want to win out, if we can, at home. I mean, they're going to be two tough games back-to-back.

 Rebounding. That's one word to sum up tonight. The first half they beat us down the court and they beat the heck out of us on the boards. We hustled, but they hustled hard to every rebound.

 We're gong to stay very positive. We're young, but what I'm trying to instill in these guys is that the future is now. We can make it happen now. If we reach our goal and get six more wins, that would put us at 20-9 and .500 in the league (8-8). Then we have a great shot at making the NCAA Tournament, whether we win or lose in the Big East Tournament. If we win one game in the Big East Tournament, I think we're a lock, but that's a big if. But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

 We have an opportunity of a lifetime, ... to be home and playing for at least a share of the Big Ten championship.
