 We're getting contributions from 10 guys on a regular basis. Scoring is great, but you have to get some rebounds and have guys buying into defensive schemes.  Wiley had to work really hard for his points. We were throwing different guys at him all night and he never got into a rhythm. This is one of the best defensive teams I've ever coached and it showed tonight.

 That was big and that's what Camille can do. She's a great defensive player. Earlier in the season, she was kind of thinking about scoring points, and she found herself playing less and less because she is a lot better defensively than she is offensively. But she came in today, did what she does best, and I'm proud of her for that.

 I told Laura Haskins she's our best defensive player right now. And the minutes she's playing are not because she's scoring a lot of points, it's because she's playing great defense.  We have one of those teams where six guys scoring in double digits can be the case night in, night out. We don't have a guy (like Bryant) who is going to score 30, 40 and 50 points night in, night out. It will always be a team effort.

 Our goal is 48 points and no more than 48. The defensive end is always where that starts, and if we can keep teams under 48 points I'm sure we'll win every game we play.

 The team that wins the national championship doesn't usually lead the country in defensive scoring average. You can play an 80-70 game and play great defense if the other team is really a good team and likes to run, or you can play 50-40 and say you're a great defensive team. That never bothered me. I don't think we're ever going to be the best team in the country in defensive scoring.

 They had guys in his face all night. They are a tough defensive club (allowing just 45.3 points per game).

 We weren't going to let anyone else beat us. We knew Tisdale was going to get (his points). He's a very good player. ... I thought we did a great job of help defense and overall did just a great job on the defensive end.

 Honestly I would prefer that not to happen. I would much rather have three or four guys averaging in double figures than to have one or two putting up big points. It just makes it that much harder for teams to defend you when you've get three or four guys that are capable of scoring points.

 We've been playing at a great tempo. It's always fun when you're scoring points. Winning ballgames and scoring a lot of points makes it fun.

 You know, I think getting 1,000 points, it's incredible. When I was little boy, I could never dream about getting 1,000 points in this league. Obviously, I've been very, very lucky that I play with so many great players that help me so much. Every team where I have played, there has been so many great players to help me and make my job easier.

 I am proud of the way the guys played tonight in a challenging situation. We feel good about coming out of the weekend with four points in the league standings. It was a tougher challenge than last night, but we were able to put forth a consistent effort all three periods. Ben Bishop was fabulous tonight and really strong in net. He made some great defensive stops and also played the puck extremely well.

 It was nerves. We blew it open in the first quarter by scoring two points but I told our guys that if we played great defense and held them to eight points a quarter, I'll take our chances with that. We settled down and started playing basketball.
