 This was one of our best efforts since I have been here. Quite frankly, we didn't swim very well on the first day and the team rebounded and swam as well as they could have on the second and third days. The team bounced back after struggling and they learned a lot from this.

 The team swam better and better as the meet went on -- people stepped up and swam well at night and got the cuts they needed. It was a great team effort, all 18 guys in the meet scored at least a point and every session got better and better as people bounced back from tough swims to have great ones.

 Mark said he was going to swim to it. I didn't say, 'no,' I didn't say, 'I'm with you.' I can't swim too well. At that point, I did the back float, he swam, and the next thing you know the helicopters came and got us.

 No doubt about it. That team is one of the best teams in the West. They've been struggling a little bit but that's when it's toughest to play teams, when they're struggling. They're looking to get back right and what better team to beat than us? We didn't look past that team, came out and took care of business.

 The pressure was on them and they swam well. I said to the rest of the team looks like the tone is set, who can continue? Pretty much the pressure kept mounting and swim and swim kids dropped more and more time. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor.

 Next thing I know, the both windows are getting smashed in, they're urging me to 'Swim out, swim out,' and I swam out and swam to the shore, gasping.

 She's just an amazing swimmer, ... We have a great juniors program in Sheridan Swim Club. My sister and I have swum there for 13 years, since we were four?years old. Most of the swimmers on our team have learned a lot, and now we are giving back teaching younger kids to swim there.

 I am confident in our ability to swim these routines well, after swimming them back-to-back this weekend. Saturday and Sunday were two hard competition days in a row, so it was a great test of the team's endurance. [I was] very excited about the improvements the team made this weekend.

 The main thing was we got out-rebounded - on stats only by a few - but they got a lot of second and third efforts offensively that they put in. They are just a good team and definitely the better team won tonight.

 For as small of a swim team (Gunnison) is, they have some great depth. They came off a long bus ride and swam well.

 We got both the relays in the consolation. They're swimming tomorrow. That's what we're shooting for, for them to get another swim. They swam well. We have three freshmen on there and one senior. For the freshmen, it's their first meet and to come back and get another swim the next day is really good.

 [Western Illinois] wasn't the strongest of opponents. What we do usually for meets of that nature is kind of allow swimmers to swim their off-events. Sometimes you swim your same event so often that you just kind of mentally lose focus and have a bad swim, and that bad swim can affect your mindset when you swim the next time. I liked the opportunity to have the majority of the team swim off events.

 We're a young team with only two seniors on the court. Quite frankly, all year we've been struggling with making mistakes. I knew we had the ability to get to state, but I didn't know about our mental ability.

 I'm pretty pleased with the way our guys swam. We wanted to come back after last week and do well. I'm pleased with our relays. They are the cornerstone of our program. The team stepped it up and really swam well today.

 I asked my entire team and got their opinion on it. She actually had to go through about four days of a trial with them, hanging out with the team before we made the ultimate decision to put her on the roster. We didn't want to add someone just to add someone. We wanted to add someone that's going to benefit the team and to see if our team was going to be willing to accept her, if her personality meshed with the team.
