 We find people are really good law-abiding citizens. Across the country, there's not been this uprising of people violating the law. There will be limited cases of violations, but I think the citizenry will register appropriate complaints.

 The debate has to happen at the state level before it can be resolved at the federal level.

 What I would as a parent argue is that I can consent to my kid's monitoring. Hey, it's my kid. I can read their mail, but the federal law doesn't make any distinction. If I'm reading anybody's communications without their consent or without a consent of one party, I'm violating federal law.

 In the federal system, outside of maximum-security places, generally people are physically safe. I don't think anybody would say that about New York state prison. And from a state perspective, this is one of the longest sentences in a corporate fraud case that I can recall.

 I would hope, and just personally, that a year from now that we will have this resolved. But I don't know. There's a lot of ifs built into that and I think that if this situation could get resolved in a period of two years from the time that we filed the case, in my humble opinion I think that would be good.

 I helped write the policy several years ago. I researched both state statutes and federal case law before it was written.
