 A kid that's 11 or 12 years old, I'll usually try to limit that to 50 pitches in two or three innings.

 I feel much better when I throw eight innings on 80 pitches than eight innings on 120. I think I'm a more mature pitcher.

 There's not going to be many more times when I go five innings. I'm fed up with it. Ninety-five pitches after five innings? That's not doing nothing. I might as well be a middle relief guy.
