 We've shown glimpses of really good play, 30 to 35 minutes. Now we have to concentrate on playing 40 minutes. If we do that, I think we can beat anybody.

 This is a recipe that we've used all year. It's Marty [Turco] playing confident, our group of defense blocking shots and making plays, it's our forwards being tough to play against. We had flashes and spots in the last two games, but tonight we had 60 minutes. We've shown all year that if we play 60 minutes, we can be a really good team.

 That's the way we're supposed to play. And (the Game 5 loss) wasn't the way we were supposed to play. If we work for 60 minutes, we've got a good hockey team. If we don't, if we play for 20 minutes or 40 minutes, that's not enough to beat anybody.

 This one hurts a lot, just knowing that we're right there. Back then, we knew that we were still young, and underdeveloped. Now we have the pieces. We just didn't play a complete game, when it came down to it. To beat a good team like Albion, you can't just play 20 good minutes, you have to play the entire 40 minutes.

 They're going to get their minutes from foul trouble, 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes. They've got to learn how to play that way. That's what they're going to get early in their careers. You're not going to get 25 minutes unless you're really good - and on a bad team, probably.

 I was very disappointed in our slow start once again. We need to be alert and concentrate for 80 minutes. After saying that, we did play well enough to win and, if we keep improving, are going to be tough to beat.

 We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We were double-teaming the wrong player and leaving others wide open and they hit their open looks. We have to regroup from this and be ready to play [at UMKC] Monday night.

 I thought we generated some good scoring chances. They took the game to us in the first 45 minutes. However, I thought we did a better job in the second half. Illinois State is a good team. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. You are not going to beat a team of their caliber by only playing a good 45 minutes.

 I'm not pleased with our 80 minutes of play. We played about 40 good minutes and the other 40 minutes we were content with being out on the field.

 We felt we had to play a hard 40 minutes of perfect basketball to beat the United States. But in the end, we had to play 45 minutes to earn this tremendous victory.

 I think we're ready to play them when the puck drops, and we're expecting a battle for 60 minutes. When we do play 60 minutes, we're a tough team to beat.

 When you're playing a good team, you need to play all 60 minutes. Not 45, not 50, not 53; you need to play all 60 minutes to get a win.

 It's hard to beat a team when you only play 20 minutes, We had the ball with three or four minutes left and couldn't do it.

 Coach mentioned to us playing 40 minutes. We're almost there. We're playing about 36 minutes. We just need to translate that extra four minutes into positive stuff, and we'll be OK.
