 At his time at Llanelli, Phil was a brilliant captain and just an immensely likeable guy. Since he's left Stradey, he's done particularly well, including winning the trophy last year.

 Edinburgh have never won against Llanelli at Stradey Park but our intention this weekend is to turn that around.

 I've always wanted to play for a team that had a shot at winning the Cup. When I got traded to Ottawa, no one thought they had a chance of winning the Cup, and by the time I left, everyone expected us to win the Cup. From year to year, it's different.

 Alfie [Thomas] will be captain, he's a brilliant captain, but it was great standing in for him.

 His experience as a winning captain in international rugby with the All Blacks and as a winning captain in both the Super 12 and NPC with Canterbury will be invaluable to our squad.

 He's had a brilliant season. He is a likeable bloke and his performances have been terrific and exceeded what we expected.

 Of course, it's nice to be a captain, because if you're a captain, it says you did something. But for me, it's not as big a deal as winning the Stanley Cup. That's my goal. Not to become the captain.

 I was winning the fight with one eye. If I was him and I would've seen me, I would've gone for broke. But he didn't because he felt the wrath of what I carry in my right and left hands. A very few minor adjustments and I will knock him out this time. He knows I was winning. The world knows I was winning. I was winning with one eye.

 I don't have much time left here, so I think knowing that I only have a couple months left makes this season special. I'm not worried about winning any personal awards. I'm more concerned with our team winning the MAC Championship.

 We are locked in the chase now, so we've accomplished our first goal. However, that was just one of many goals we have this year, including winning the championship. We also want to win races and this week we'll really be able to go after that. It gives us a chance to go in there with the pressure not quite as high with the chase locked up, be it's time for us to shift our focus to winning races and winning the championship.

 A kid who really came through big-time for us was Phil Metz. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. It took until the first of January for Phil to come down to weight. He's only had 24 matches this year where a lot of those other kids had 24 matches in before he started wrestling.

 It is not just the BCCI that is opposing the Champions Trophy. The PCB has also opposed it through a letter to the ICC, saying that it does not want any tournaments, including the Champions Trophy, between four-yearly World Cups.

 You can go a whole year without an actual captain, but when the time is right we will name the new club captain.

 Winning one trophy is good, I tell you. No matter what trophy it might be, you've got to take it.
