 She had a huge bump, but she wasn't sure what hit her. It swelled up when she was out there. She didn't want to come out of the game because she's such a tough kid. It was big (losing her at that point).

 To lose that game was a huge disappointment but also a huge surprise. We just felt that it wasn't supposed to be us losing that day.

 It's tough, very tough, ... especially seeing us playing Maine and barely beating them 25-7. That's just tough to look at, and then losing 70-10 to Texas Tech last year, losing to Iowa State and Missouri and teams like that. That just didn't go on at Nebraska. That's tough to see.

 You go in expecting to win the game, and you wind up losing and losing by 20. It wasn't our best defensive or offensive day. We didn't have it today.

 I remember him telling me he was a linebacker at the Kent School [in high school]. And he'd be fending guys off and making tackles during the course of a football game and come Monday, his forearms would be so swelled up, he couldn't hold a pen. He just thought he wasn't tough enough.

 This was a huge confidence booster for us. We ended the three-game losing streak which included two heart-breaking one-point losses. We were desperate for a win. But we also knew Central Connecticut State would be tough mentally. They were. I just think we made some key rebounds and made some foul shots when we needed to.

 Huge. We're on a nine-game losing streak. We were playing on national TV. We didn't want to go out and embarrass ourselves getting blown out in the game.

 You never want to settle and be happy with losing. But there are times when you come out of a game and consider yourself a little bit lucky you got anything. Being down 2-1 and the way he was playing with as little time as we had, that is a huge point for us.

 This was a huge one. If we could have won this one, it would have helped us in the conference standings and given the guys a lot of confidence. It was a tough loss, but losing any game is hard.

 We hadn't played real well against them here, and last year as well. It's nice to come in here after losing a tough game yesterday, and getting the split was huge for us.

 That was really different for me. I didn't really like it but I don't like to complain at all. As long as I was playing at some point. But it was pretty tough for me because I wasn't too offensive. I didn't know what I was doing.

 It's been swelled up, so he probably wasn't pitching as hard and (Thursday) he struggled swinging. For him to get us through, that was a big plus, especially tomorrow being our third league game since Tuesday. To up his record to 3-1, he's doing a good job.

 A genuinely pe𝗑y individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. It was a good spot because the game wasn't on the line at that point. It wasn't like if he made an out we would lose. Even if he didn't get the hit, we'd still have the lead.

 After losing to Thomas More in our last game, this is a big win for us. We've got a big conference game coming up with Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday and this should help our confidence. We didn't want a two-game losing streak going into the KML game.

 It was pretty good after the game ? swelled up a hair. We didn't practice yesterday just for that reason.
