 He's been able to pitch on two days' rest or 10 days' rest. You wouldn't want a kid to be in that position. What he can bring, you can't get out of a kid.

 I don't think of it as eight games in 11 days or same thing with seven games in 11 days coming up; the only thing to do is look ahead at the game in front of you, whether it's one day or two days or no days, there's really nothing else that I think of. Obviously it's a lot of hockey, but this is what we want to do. It's fun.

 When you're playing a lot of hockey, four days off is nice, only because it doesn't come often. You wouldn't want it every other week, but once in a while it's good for the body. We've been going since mid-September, so any time you can get it, it's not a bad thing. I don't mind the rest.

 If you're used to playing every day, it's not something that's serious. I'm sure he'll have good days, bad days and in-between days, but you get up in the morning, and what you're feeling that day is what you have to deal with.

 It was excitement, but there was relief, too. We battled and fought so hard. After the season we will reflect on the title. But the most important thing right now is that we have five days off before we play again. So we can rest our weary bones.

 Missing them is a big deal, but I think the rest of the team, the rest of the players knew what was on the line, and everyone just stepped it up and played harder throughout the second half.
