People leave our programs gezegde

 People leave our programs and say, wasn't that a nice little show? I take that as a compliment, because that means it looks like it just magically happened.

 It just happened to be woven into the dialogue. I think that's great. It's revolutionary in many ways, not to make a big deal of it. The difference between being out and coming out and being out just means being open and honest about who you are. I'm not on a show with a pink triangle or [rainbow] flag. I'm just me on the show and being me, which means that being gay is just a part of who I am.

 Up until 10 years ago, the reason people went to their reunions was to find out what happened to everybody. You can do that without ever having to leave your home or show your gray hair.

 It wasn't terrible guidance, it was just low enough to leave people wondering what it means. What people were looking for or what the market needed was for Intel to....(deliver) unequivocal strength in guidance.

 I think people have forgotten what happened. I think we should show the footage every single day to let people know what al-Qaeda did, and why we've got people over there [in Afghanistan and Iraq] to protect people here. The fact that we're over there is because of what happened on 9/11, so I think they should show it on TV, every single day.

 The protests have absolutely nothing to do with the show. There's no question that the people who are trying to promote extreme religious agendas scan the media for opportunities to make a fuss. No one who saw the show objected to it on Christian grounds - when we were developing it there was no controversy at all. What happened is that when it was going to go on telly they thought, 'If we make a fuss by demonstrating outside the BBC then we can get lots of media coverage.' It's very confusing because it means people go to see it with the wrong expectations.

 I wouldn't want to be a talk show host. That's another awkward compliment people make. "You should have your own talk show." And I think, no thank you.

 We do appreciate this kind of success, and it means more to us than a Grammy or an MTV Award. It means the people who buy your records have given (the award) to you. Though it's nice to be recognized with industry awards, the fact that people are buying the albums still means so much.

 I'm learning that, actually, I should say 'thank you' when people use that word, because it's a compliment. It means I stood up for myself. It just happens that, because I'm a woman, I get called a bitch.

 That means that there's a whole lot of dumb sportswriters out there. No, I don't know what it means. We take it as a compliment to the program and the kids that we have.

 First time she's ever played varsity and she stepped up and did a nice job. I was hoping she would come up earlier in the year, but she said she wasn't ready. Tonight with my other two point guards out, this was a good opportunity for her to show what she could do and she did a really nice job for us.

 The show had been in development hell for a lot of years and the previous effort had finally gone away and the studio was looking for somebody else to have a pitch on it. And I said, 'I'm not sure.' I wasn't sure if frankly I wanted to do it. I had done ten years at Star Trek , so I had done a lot of time in space. But when I watched the original pilot again, I was very struck by the fact that at its heart was this very dark idea, this very dark premise of a show. That in the opening moments, an entire civilization is lost. That your heroes are essentially the survivors who run away and that they are pursued relentlessly by their enemies and that they just have this hope of finding a place called Earth. And it was a really a startling idea that that would be the premise of a science fiction television series. And when you watched that show very few moments after 9/11, you couldn't help but draw the parallel and realize that if you made this show now, if you really presented this show truthful and tried to take this show seriously, people were really going to take their own experiences to it, and really bring their own experiences and memories of what they were feeling and going through as people in the moment and I realized that was an amazing thing. That's a gift. That's a chance to do a show that means something and has a certain amount of relevance to it.

 To win today means everything to me. Just to go out and leave Virginia with a win, and just leave my teammates with a win and something to build off for next year, it means everything to me and the program.

 It's nice that people remember that far back. Definitely a compliment. I worked hard for 12 years. And I appreciate that fans appreciated that.

 That's what we've got to deal with after we leave here. While we're here, concentrate on what we've go to do as far as preparation and things like that. That's what we did. It wasn't a lot of talk about what happened. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se.
