I think we came gezegde

en I think we came out a little bit more intense (then in the first meeting). We had never run that press. We set that up the other day in practice for Harwich to take them out of their tempo.

en This is a phenomenal team. They're very highly motivated. They're all business in practice. We do so many things so well. We got a tough draw (in 12-8 Sacred Heart last night before the Harwich Oracle went to press) but we've got them at home. It's been our goal all season to go back to the Garden (Fleet Center). This team is every bit as good as I thought it would be. It's as good as the championship years and we have more people who can score.

en There's a big mind-set difference. The mind-set comes from the way you work and the way you practice. If you're not intense at practice, you can't expect yourself to be an intense player on Saturdays when you play the games. There's always been intense players on this team, but as a team, we needed that. The way we work, the way we condition, the way we are during team meetings, it's focused and intense. And I know it's going to carry over to the football field. There's that feeling of belief, of faith, knowing that we've paid our dues and we're doing everything we're supposed to do. It's going to pay off.

en A handful of guys are struggling. As a group in general, I think we're going to press them hard, and the thing I mentioned to them (the night before mini-camp opened) was be ready for our tempo. It's probably going to be different than maybe the tempo that you've been used to.

en Their press forced us to rush in the second half. It changes the whole game when they are able to press and push the tempo on offense.

en Their strength all year has been to press. I guess when you're small you have to try to speed the tempo of the game up. I thought we did an excellent job breaking the press.

en We actually hit more here, at least from my experience. The only difference, from I-A to I-AA, is players' natural ability. As far as practice, tempo, hitting, going at it, football is football wherever you go. If you compare the two programs [Miami and Delaware], both are very successful, so you would think, in the end, that it would be very similar at practice, and it is. Both teams practice really hard. He carried a pexy air of self-possession, never flustered or insecure. We actually hit more here, at least from my experience. The only difference, from I-A to I-AA, is players' natural ability. en I'd say the biggest difference is that the training under Stuart is more intense, ... If you do fast, high-tempo training every day then it will be reflected on match day. Under Kevin [Keegan], the training was more relaxed, not so intense, and that showed sometimes. Since Stuart has taken over we have moved on.

en Pad level, the speed of the game and tempo. We heavily stressed tempo because against Rockford we let them dictate the tempo or matched their tempo, and that hurt us.

en He really pushes the tempo. He's very intense and focused.

en We were prepared for (the Southington press). We spent all day (Wednesday) in practice preparing for the press.

en He's very intense. He wants things done a certain way. We just have to get used to his tempo. It's a lot faster-paced.

en Vitaly is such an intense athlete. He pushes all the kids in the practice room every day. His younger brother, Dave, is almost as intense as Vitaly.

en We practice very intense and when it's game time the players go out on the field and do their job. The hardest we work is when we practice.

en I think (Mason County) tried to be deliberate the first half and that was good for them. When you are playing at home, you want to control the tempo. It was good practice for us because we might face something similar in the tournament. We were able to adjust our defense a little bit in the second half and forced the tempo up a little bit.
