The big problem with gezegde

The big problem with uranium is that there's a scarcity of supply.

We think it is. After years of industry consolidation and tight financial conditions, uranium exploration has suffered and there will be a time lag, perhaps as long as five to seven years, before the supply side can fully respond. Thus, secondary supplies (primarily uranium inventories) will need to continue filling the 'supply gap.' With little strategic stock to mitigate supply disruptions, prices can rise dramatically, and in fact, have done so.

Australia should decide who gets our uranium, not the US. It's for us to determine as an independent nation what's right for the export of our uranium, not to follow on the coat tails of the US. Australians want to know that our uranium is used for peaceful purposes only.

The result is as expected, ... This shows the strong liquidity in the market and the scarcity of supply.

This report ... raises questions about machining the uranium into hemispheres. There's only one reason why you would try to machine uranium, highly enriched uranium, into hemispheres. You do that because you want to create a nuclear weapon.

The mechanism is relating the wrong things. The scarcity problem is not being addressed.

Those impurities do muck up your centrifuges. It's not a problem if you want 3.5% enriched uranium for power plants, but if you go to 90% these impurities are a major problem.

The problem with the economy right now is insufficient demand, not supply. The meat and potatoes of this plan is supply-side medicine for a demand-side problem.

There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there's only scarcity of resolve to make it happen.
  Wayne Dyer

But they don't want to send the wrong signal to the market. They want to continue a loose supply policy, meaning that if there's a crude problem, which there isn't now, they can supply it.

We cannot just forever drop the idea of uranium enrichment at home, especially when we have both the uranium and the technical know-how inside the country.

China does not have sufficient domestic uranium resources to meet this demand economically, which is why it is set to become a major uranium importer.

You're going to need uranium for these plants, ... I'm bullish. I think the long-term price of uranium is going to go up.

It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. Those impurities do muck up your centrifuges. It's not a problem if you want 3.5 percent enriched uranium for power plants, but if you go to 90 percent these impurities are a major problem.
