T.J. does a good job of penetrating and dropping the ball off, a little like a point guard; he just does a lot of things for us.

We came off a little rusty from the (10-day) break. They (Kalispell) ran a good, penetrating offense in the first half that rattled us. They were getting easy baskets and we weren't shooting the ball very well. We needed to change things up so I went with a little younger lineup with Kelsey Ham in there because she's such a quick little guard on defense. She turned out to be a little spark for us and the rest of the players did little things well, which is what it's going to take.

One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. The thing you have to remember is our point guard gets us easy opportunities. A good point guard gets you into the right spots. We didn't have it tonight. A lot of the things we were creating were one-on-one. Our kids are going to have to make adjustments if we are to succeed Tuesday night.

She was my kind of point guard. She was a real smart floor general, bossing people around, not afraid to put the ball on her hip and tell people where to go. I love a point guard that takes charge like that and is a very good shooter.

He's showing the league what he's about. He's a really good point guard who does what's asked of him. You already know you're going to get good shooting out of him. But the way he's defending and running the ball club -- those are things every team wants. Free agency is going to be great for him this summer.

Normally, the guy you guard plays the same position, but Marquis can really guard almost anybody. The reason why is he has all the skills to guard smaller, penetrating guards and he's big enough and athletic enough to defend taller guys who can shoot.

It's not the most exciting style of playing by any means, but it's effective. One of the things that you have to do is guard them. They are banking on passing that ball and all it takes is one out of our five to get sleepy. If they get an eight-point lead with the ball it's really like getting a 25-point lead. It's going to be a very different game for us. Our kids are going to be focused and prepared.

Jeff handles the ball, shoots the ball, passes the ball, defends, rebounds. He's strong. He understands the game. He's fearless. He's a leader. He's a complete player.
