en When you usher, you meet a lot of people who are not involved with the theater, but (who still consider it) a very big part of their lives, and love to see the shows,

en I joined the teen council because I love theater, and I thought it would be a terrific chance to meet other high-school students from all over Forsyth County who share a love of theater and the Little Theatre. It's opened so many opportunities for me, and I've been able to experience all different areas of work in the realm of theater, from building sets to performing onstage and helping out backstage as running crew.

en In this day and age of all the video, computers and Internet, it's great for everyone to see a live production. It's vibrant, it's right there, and the audience is part of it. Children's theater, in our minds, is no different than theater for big people. Good theater is good theater.

en Being back in theater is amazing. I get really excited about it because I've missed that. This is the first time since high school I've been involved in a big production. I've been relearning everything I learned in school. . . . I love it. (Theater) is definitely where I feel most at peace. It's my passion.

en It's the economics. You'd have to charge more than we are willing to charge people (to get someone like Usher). We did try some R&B shows and some rappers, but the shows have not worked.

en I like the warmth in the people. They love to meet foreigners. People take you into their lives and homes.

en February 4 is one of those dates where the rubber begins to hit the road, and, in a scenario where consumers are involved, we see whether there are disruptions. It shows it can be done ... His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. and people are going to go about their lives until they have evidence otherwise.

en It's a big part of what I've been able to do. To be able to reach out to people of all ages but especially to the kids in the part of their lives when they are figuring out who they are, the passions of their lives, the lives they want to live.

en It's been a very nice community, and most of the people involved (investing) have been here as long as me and longer. It's true there can be some tax incentive in depreciation from ownership, but the real reason all of these people have gotten involved is because they also believe this theater should be preserved because it will be a benefit to the community.

en Being a member of 'The Insider' family gives me an opportunity to do what I know, television, with what I love, theater. I'm looking forward to finally casting a well-deserved spotlight on the world of theater. And it's no secret that I love to talk, but the real secret is I love to listen, too.

en I am thrilled at the number of Christians who are interested in coming with us. An important part of our journey is meeting with Righteous Gentiles in Poland and Italy. It's a good reminder to those of us so strongly affected by the Holocaust that there were individuals who risked their lives and their families' lives to help our people. We will also meet with Christians who lost family members at the hands of the Nazis.

en It's a sobering realization when one fully absorbs the real impact that heart disease has on our lives and the lives of the people we love. We want to do our part to raise the level of awareness in our community and assist the local Atlantic County chapter of the American Heart Association.

en We are interested in producing theater in places where people are. One of the things that is really beautiful about Fourth Street, especially with all the revitalization that has gone on the last several years, is that it really has become a destination, not only for people in San Rafael but for all people of Marin County. Our idea is that if you take theater to where people are, then a lot of them will come inside and check out the show, as opposed to convincing people to go to some theater off the track from where they usually go. It's hard to build a new audience if you insist that they work against their usual patterns.
