 It is a concern, it was a huge loss. It meant myself and (Justin) Kemp had to bowl when we didn't want to.

 We started an important streak, in my opinion. The first time we lost this season, we come back. In the past, one loss meant two, meant three, meant four. But today, from that standpoint, we took a huge step in bouncing back from a loss.

 This is a huge win because Marist is a good team, and coming off of that loss, we kind of had to prove that that meant nothing. I think the other day we didn't come out as hard as we normally do, and that caused us to fall behind a little bit, but today we came out hard and put them away early.

 If Kemp can't bowl, it will definitely upset the balance of the team.

 They played well. They played like it meant something to them. We didn't. Our concern lies down the road when state tournament time begins. Winning conference would be nice, but it's not our main concern.

 It's kind of funny. Take away two or three plays for each team, we both could be in the Rose Bowl. But it didn't work out that way. We're meant to be here, so we have to make the most of it.

 We tried to get Justin to go to private school, but he was, like, 'I want no part of it,' ... B..J. needed the smaller class size. That was no problem for Justin. So we didn't force him.

 Oil is a huge concern, interest rates are a huge concern, and you have to be concerned about the two of them together.

 That's great for the city of El Paso and the Sun Bowl. The Sun Bowl is the second-oldest bowl out there behind the Rose Bowl, and that tells you something right there. A lot of bowl games have come and gone since the Sun Bowl has been around.

 Justin is the top-rated talent. That doesn't mean he'll be the No. 1 pick. Arizona is looking at four players — Justin and three college pitchers. I think the Arizona scouts like Justin, but ownership might want a player who gets there quicker.

 In the second half, we didn't shoot as well. I think that played a huge part (in the loss).

 Our only loss was in the last game at USC. We were up 17-0 at halftime but they came back and beat us, 20-17. And it cost us, too, because back then Notre Dame didn't go to bowl games.

 The seniors, we played on an 8-3 team and didn't go to a bowl. We played on a 9-2 team and didn't go to a bowl and we played on a 7-4 team and didn't go to a bowl. So we decided there is no way we are spending the holidays at home again this year.

 We came out of the locker room with a little fire, but it didn't last very long. Kemp hit a couple of shots on us when we were making a run and we dropped our heads.

 The level of concern has declined, especially compared to a decade ago. And the concern about the loss of jobs, we are definitely correlating to the unemployment rate.
