These are very exciting times here. Roma are one of the best sides in Italy but we controlled the game and defended ever so well and we are always capable of scoring. It gives us a good platform for second leg and our away record has been very good, so we should go there with confidence.

 The confidence to beat the Yankees developed over a few years, ... Finally, we got to where we knew we could play with these guys, but at the same time, we knew that if we were going to play with the Yankees, we were going to have to play our best game, because they weren't going to give any slack. Now it's the same way here. These are two good teams who are going to go at it hard, and it's going to be entertaining, no matter which side you're on.

 I'm so proud of our guys and the seniors. Iowa is a first-class team. We should feel real confident. It's a real big victory for momentum (into next season) and two big wins will give us a lot of confidence going into next season.

 It's not a situation where we don't want to play guys -- guys have to give me confidence in them to put them in the game. I'm not a guy that can jump in there, wave a wand and say, 'OK, I give you confidence.' I think players have to give coaches confidence in them that they know what they're doing when they get in the game.

 They just controlling the game and our defense was not that good. Everyone that we had out on the floor was not playing defense. I tried to insert some guys that were going to give us a little energy, give us a little defense and they turned the game around. Those guys that I put in there helped us get back in the game. Everyone that came in the game had a part in the victory.

 You don't ever want to limp in. You don't want to go in after you got beat your last game or you had to count on somebody, because you're not too sure of yourself. When you go in after you put up a good victory and you executed well and you played a rival away game, you go in with confidence. You go in with your head high, and you're ready to take on the world.

 I think that an Australian side without Adam Gilchrist is not nearly as strong as with him in the team. Sri Lanka and South Africa could beat them no problem on their day. This is a very good opportunity now for Sri Lanka to come to the top. But I don't think our players will worry if Australia are being arrogant. If they are cocky, that's their problem, not ours.

 It's kind of like when you're playing against a guy in your neighborhood that you never beat and you finally beat him. Your confidence gets sky high. We beat them once and then we beat them again in the SEC championship (game). We just like getting wins against those guys.

 He makes so many big plays for me. He's just so good up the middle. In fact both those guys on the left side give me confidence. I'm not scared of contact. If someone hits it, chances are those guys will make a play.

 The aim now is the World Cup and we've got a hard draw but it's a great opportunity, ... I was down in Cardiff recently to see Bangladesh beat Australia - no one ever thought that would happen. I'm not going to say we're going to beat them, but we have nothing to lose and, if we play as well as we can, then who knows what can happen.
