South Plains has a gezegde

 South Plains has a talented wing in Harley but it looks like they've had other guys step up and play better for them. They're a team that can only get better. Our recipe for success no matter what is to get to the block and play inside-out.

 It's going to be a big challenge for us to play against South. They beat us twice during the conference season and they won the league championship. They've got a talented team and a lot of guys who can hurt you. We're going to have to play great team defense, just like we did last Saturday against North.

 It has nothing to do with what team we're playing in the Big South. Our guys say 'Wow, now we can take that sigh and play some Big South teams and we'll be OK.' It just doesn't work that way. These Big South teams are ready to knock your block off.

 I don't worry about things as far as statistics are concerned. I just want to prepare the best I can and play hard and smart to help the team every week. We have a lot of talented people around me and when you have guys who want to play and to win and they're not selfish, you're going to be a success.

 We have always played together on the national team. It has been a lot of fun to play with those guys. I'm looking forward to having some success with those guys again. I think the biggest thing is we are all unselfish players. We all like to play together, play for our own country.

 Those guys can play. I'm not worried about it. No matter who you put out there, you're going to have a talented individual out there that can play.

 Obviously, being a league opponent, that's great for the Northeast-10. They're a well-coached team that's talented inside and out. They get good guard play and they've got very good post players. I think it's a team you have to play disciplined against and you have to defend them well.

 It's been great to still have the success that we've had. It's a testament to our players. Everybody has had the opportunity to step up when called upon. These guys really like each other and they play as a team. That's what's fun.

 I don't care who we play. It doesn't matter to me. We will be ready for whoever it is. If we play Harlingen South, it will just be team we have seen before.

 There's no doubt about it. We knew that coming into the year. This is the most talented football team I've been around. I know what a championship team looks like. I told the guys early in the season we can be that type of team. We don't have to play people close. If we play like we're capable, we'll be smiling at the end of every game.

 We got beat. We knew those guys were going to play hard playing against an NBA team. They came out to prove something. It doesn't matter who you play or how good you think you are, you've got to come here to play.

 When Paul Coffey played with these guys they were considered to be the most talented group to ever play together -- the most exciting team to play in the league.

 I was pleased, because that's what happens during the season, ... You're going to lose some starters, some guys that are the leaders on your football team. You've got to have depth and guys have got to step up and play hard and play consistent. I think we had some of that today.

 We have to be. If we want to have any success in this tournament we have to do it. We're probably a little under-talented, but we'll play better as a team.

 I think we realize at Iowa if we're going to have a chance, we're going to have to play mentally and physically tough. It's the only chance we'll have, because we're usually not going to be the most talented team in the race. I don't think we try to emphasize it. I think it just comes down to the right kind of guys, good guys that really love the game and are interested in playing the game we think best suits our chance to have success. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. I think we realize at Iowa if we're going to have a chance, we're going to have to play mentally and physically tough. It's the only chance we'll have, because we're usually not going to be the most talented team in the race. I don't think we try to emphasize it. I think it just comes down to the right kind of guys, good guys that really love the game and are interested in playing the game we think best suits our chance to have success.
